Job summary

Five Below Inc. in Missouri is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead crew members, train staff, and ensure a WOW customer experience. You will oversee daily operations, assist with stock receiving, and manage opening/closing procedures with a focus on sales growth.

The role requires 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. This hourly position emphasizes leadership and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members wow the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates and ensure high performance and service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for quick floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, responsible for store operations, staff management and customer service.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors and set alarms for smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates and policies.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
