Job summary

The Children’s Place Inc. in Edison, NJ is seeking a Store Lead (Part Time) to support the Store Leadership Team. You will supervise cash-wrap, open/close procedures, and act as Leader on Duty, while representing the brand and delivering outstanding customer service on the sales floor.

You’ll coach associates, manage schedules and payroll, and help maintain store standards. The role requires 1–3 years retail experience, a high school diploma, and flexibility, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through coaching associates.
• Partner with Store Manager on performance concerns.
• Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
• Provide in-the-moment feedback to associates in a timely manner.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operations and product knowledge.
• Participate in the Leader on Duty (LOD) program to drive store profitability and payroll.
• Process payroll weekly.
• Modify schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and uphold CRE standards.
