Job summary

The Children’s Place in Edison, New Jersey is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and as Leader on Duty (LOD). You will represent the brand, engage customers, and drive store standards and employee development.

Responsibilities include coaching associates, scheduling, payroll processing, and maintaining a positive, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• 18+ years old as minimum age requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cash-wrap operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Lead on Duty (LOD) to drive store profitability and customer experience.
• Coach and develop associates through in-the-moment feedback.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and store standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and brand representation.
• Support payroll processing and variable scheduling as needed.
• Participate in training initiatives and performance reviews.
• Ensure CRE standards and safety compliance.
