Job summary

The Children's Place in Central Valley, New York is seeking a part-time Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team. The role emphasizes coaching, training, customer engagement, and maintaining brand standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

You will participate in Leader on Duty, manage schedules, coordinate payroll, and ensure safe, efficient store operations while delivering an exceptional shopping experience for customers and supporting team development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through on-the-job coaching conversations.
• Lead payroll processing and scheduling as part of Leader on Duty responsibilities.
• Maintain store standards and deliver exceptional customer service on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Support leadership to maximize productivity through operational and product knowledge.
• Represent the brand professionally and engage customers at all times.
• Open/close procedures and participate in the Leader on Duty program to drive store profitability.
