Job summary

Five Below is seeking a manager-on-duty oriented candidate to oversee daily store operations and lead a team of associates. You will train staff, manage cash handling, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for guests.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic retail environment. Flexibility for day, evening, weekends, and travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on BEST customer service.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep sales floor stocked.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, responsible for store operations and staff.
• Opens/closes the store, handles cash, alarms, and daily prep for operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
