Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an RN Shift Lead I for part-time day shifts at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. The role provides leadership and clinical expertise on the shift, coordinating resources to balance census and acuity while supporting staff and model professionalism.

The position requires a BSN within four years (or equivalent experience), MT RN license, and BLS certification on hire. The hourly pay range is listed, reflecting shift leadership responsibilities and day shift

Qualifications

BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years.
Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

Supervises and/or provides direct patient care and coordinates unit resources on their shift.
Respond to patient emergencies as the charge or lead person for disasters.
Collaborates with staffing office to adjust numbers of staff for census changes.
Communicates with the oncoming Charge Nurse about census, staffing, admissions, discharges, and patient information.
Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health and adheres to service standards.
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency.
May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
