Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living in Springfield, Virginia, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, person-centered care for residents. You will collaborate with caregivers and the clinical team to ensure high-quality, safe care in a welcoming environment, with new graduates encouraged to apply.

The role offers compensation starting at $40.00/hr up to $48.00/hr plus shift differential, plus benefits including health plans, PTO, 401k, and education

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year of assisted living or long-term care experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and teaching self-care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
