Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living in Springfield, VA, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for day and evening shifts. You will provide compassionate, resident-centered care, support daily living, and collaborate with a clinical team to promote safety and wellbeing.

New graduates are welcome. We offer competitive pay from $40.00 to $48.00 per hour plus shift differential, health/dental/vision, PTO, a 401(k) with match, on-site clinics, education reimbursement, and growth

Qualifications

• RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required (DHP on file).
• Minimum of 1 year in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 6 months as an RN.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web apps.
• EMR experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required with 90-day training window.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform all clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about condition, meds, and self-care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Work with care associates to perform routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Document care in the EMR and ensure timely updates.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager
