Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) in Springfield, VA. You will deliver compassionate, person-centered care to residents, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support daily living and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in Virginia and be registered with the Virginia Department of Health Professions (DHP).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living or long-term care is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A minimum of 6 months experience as an RN is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach, focusing on physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote residents' independence by teaching residents and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Monitor resident clinical and care conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Work with care associates to provide routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support residents' preferences in their EMR and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
• Participate in care conferences for designated residents as requested.
