Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living in Springfield, VA is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse (RN). You will provide compassionate, resident-centered care, partnering with caregivers and the clinical team to support daily needs and well-being in a safe, welcoming setting.

New graduates are encouraged to apply and growth opportunities are available. We offer competitive pay starting at $40.00/hr up to $48.00/hr with shift differential, plus medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with 3% match,

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 6 months RN experience.
• Experience caring for seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web apps.
• EMR experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required with renewal within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care team for routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and document orders.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Record resident preferences and routines in EMR.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
