Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time shifts to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents. You will work with a clinical team to support daily needs, wellness and safety in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living or long-term care is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience caring for seniors or those with cognitive impairment preferred.
• CPR certification required; BLS certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote resident independence by teaching care goals and self-care skills.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care.
• Administer medications and practice infection prevention.
• Develop and coordinate Holistic care plans with the team.
• Support resident preferences and documentation in the EMR.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager
