Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, person-centered care at a vibrant continuing care retirement community in Virginia. You will work with caregivers and the clinical team to support residents' daily needs and well-being.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia (DHP) is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience caring for seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, internet and web apps.
• Experience with an EMR is preferred.
• CPR certification required with BLS renewal within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about conditions and self-care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Support resident preferences in the EMR.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
