Family Dollar in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to run store operations, deliver strong customer service, and help develop the team. You will assist with merchandising, ordering, and daily procedures while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

The role involves supervising associates and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and store management experience is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and secure assets.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed; supervise and develop store associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
