Job summary

Family Dollar in Shenandoah, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, merchandise handling, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks (lift up to 55 lbs) and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Maintain organized stockroom and well-stocked sales floor.
• Protect store assets and cash.
