Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the store team.

You will assist with merchandising, scheduling, payroll, loss prevention, and ensure the store remains clean, organized, and compliant with company policies, while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced retail environment that values teamwork and positive interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in merchandising, scheduling, payroll, and cash handling.
• Support the Store Manager in training and developing store associates.
