Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Team Member in Temple, TX. You will help customers, process purchases at checkout, and support in-store merchandising and stock duties.

This fast-paced role requires excellent customer service and ability to work with shelves, POS systems, and omnichannel processes. Roles involve engaging customers about rewards and private label cards, participating in truck unloading, planograms, and store recovery.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum age 16 years old to work at Michaels.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planograms (POGs)
• Complete merchandise recovery and stock maintenance including returns
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully and model company values for team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
