Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and staff development. You will help with merchandise organization, assist in payroll and scheduling, and ensure safety and loss prevention across the store.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time hours and weekend coverage may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers and address questions or concerns.
• Coordinate merchandise transfers from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Supervise and develop store associates.
• Ensure loss prevention and asset protection.
