Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. The role includes assisting with daily activities, merchandising, and opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities include organizing merchandise, processing directives, maintaining displays, supervising store associates, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organization and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store displays and promotional effectiveness.
