Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a dynamic retail setting.

The role includes assisting with daily store activities, merchandising, and staff training while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and associates. Part-time opportunities allow flexibility while delivering excellent service and operational support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized, protect assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
