The role blends remote recruiting with local field outreach and requires travel within the Tanner/Huntsville/Decatur area. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, screening, distributing flyers, building relationships with workforce agencies, and coordinating interviews and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must live in Tanner, Huntsville, Decatur, or surrounding area.
• Own computer and reliable internet connection.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel locally as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, sales, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach.
• Review resumes and conduct initial candidate phone screenings.
• Distribute recruiting flyers at approved businesses, community centers, workforce agencies, and other appropriate locations.
• Develop relationships with local workforce agencies and community organizations.
• Attend and assist with local job fairs and hiring events.
• Conduct grassroots/organic recruiting when additional candidates are needed.
• Schedule candidates and coordinate interviews and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate candidate background checks and drug screens.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity in the ATS.
• Maintain regular communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Travel locally within the Tanner/Huntsville/Decatur area for recruiting activities and occasional client-site needs.
• Communicate recruiting progress, pipeline activity, and hiring needs with Above Talent's Recruiting & Operations team.
• Assist with meeting weekly recruiting and placement goals.
