Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a part-time home health role. You will implement the plan of care under supervision, lead patient exercise sessions, and educate families to support patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating with nurses and physicians, and ensuring safety during activities. A valid license and reliable transportation are required, with CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to assist in physical therapy in state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws and plan of care as defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and transfer training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with healthcare team.
• Educates patient, family, and caregivers within scope of PTA.
• Perform duties in diverse home settings respecting all individuals.
