Job summary

BioLife Plasma Center in Colorado Springs is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener. You will perform phlebotomy to support center operations and screen donors while maintaining donor safety and accurate records.

Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays. Prior customer-facing experience is helpful, with a high school diploma and ability to lift up to 32 lbs occasionally. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
