Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener to support center operations in Colorado Springs. You will greet donors, screen first-time and returning donors, record vital signs, and perform phlebotomy to collect plasma, while ensuring donor safety and compliance with procedures.

This role requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, a high school diploma, and physical ability to lift up to 32 lbs. Training is provided, and benefits include retirement, medical, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand and walk for the full shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 32 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and answer phones while focusing on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs.
• Use the Donor Information System and coordinate donor charts.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements as approved.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
