Job summary

BioLife in Colorado Springs is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener to join our team. Shifts are typically 4 to 6 hours, 3+ days per week, with advance notice of schedule changes.

You will play a key role in donor safety and service, under supervision of the Plasma Center Manager, and you will complete paid, interactive training. You will screen donors, perform phlebotomy to support center operations, log donor information, and coordinate donor compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for improving center processes and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
