Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited. is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist at BioLife locations in Mentor, OH. You will support plasma center operations by screening donors, performing phlebotomy, and ensuring donor safety, with shifts 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week.

Responsibilities include donor screening, vital signs, and using the Donor Information System to maintain donor charts and compensation records. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand or walk for entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. with occasional heavier materials.
• 1+ year in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and initiate changes to center processes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
