Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, in partnership with Takeda, seeks a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support in Houston, TX. Shifts are 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

You will greet donors, screen new and returning donors, record vital signs, and ensure donor safety and center operations. You will use the Donor Information System, maintain donor charts, coordinate donor compensation, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk/stand for entire shift and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and support flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Work with donors across multiple shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
