Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomy assistant in Mentor, OH. You will interact with donors, perform screenings, and support plasma center operations with a focus on safety and quality. Training is provided to prepare you for success from day one.

Shifts are typically 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes reliability and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work availability.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs and occasional 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure risk.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and identify process improvements.
• Attend a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
