Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, operating BioLife Plasma Center in Findlay, OH, seeks a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support. Shift hours are 4–6 per day, 3+ days per week, with evenings, weekends and holidays required.

You will be trained through a paid program and play a key role in donor safety and center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and use the Donor Information System to manage donor charts, records, and compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasional up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and maintain records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement approved changes.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
