Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Waterloo, IA seeks a part-time Phlebotomist to support plasma collection with flexible 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, and paid training. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, and ensure smooth center operations.

You will assist with setting up plasmapheresis equipment, monitor donors, and handle data entry and routine duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Ability to walk/stand for the entire shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally; 32 lbs. regularly.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
