Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is hiring for a part-time Phlebotomist in Davenport, IA. You will screen donors and perform plasmapheresis procedures with emphasis on safety and donor care. Flexible 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, training provided.

The role requires patient-facing interaction, ability to stand for shifts, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with benefits under Takeda/BioLife programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Take donor vital signs and monitor donor questionnaire system.
• Record donor measurements in the DIS.
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors via Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements.
