Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Waterloo, IA is seeking a true part-time donor screener/phlebotomist to join our team. Shifts are 4 to 6 hours, 3 or more days per week, with schedule flexibility to fit your life.

You will greet donors, perform vital sign checks, screen new and repeat donors, and use our Donor Information System to document records and donor compensation. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Screen donors and record vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy to support center operations.
• Answer phones and greet donors.
• Coordinate donor compensation and maintain donor charts.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes.
