Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy support in Ames, IA. You will interact with donors daily, ensure safety, and collect high-quality plasma under the supervision of the Plasma Center Manager. The role emphasizes reliability and flexible scheduling across evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will participate in a paid, interactive training program and help maintain donor records and compensation while supporting center operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for center processes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
