Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time phlebotomist in Waterloo, IA. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, and operate plasmapheresis equipment to support plasma center operations.

You will monitor donors, handle equipment setup and troubleshooting, and maintain accurate donor records in the DIS. The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and may involve lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs occasionally.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal as needed.
• Record donor measurements and enter data into the DIS.
