Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Pick & Prep team member to actively engage guests with product prep, sampling and suggestive selling. You will demonstrate storytelling about Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and Local products while maintaining sanitation, safety and high service standards.

You will operate the Pick & Prep area, perform product prep, receiving, stocking and merchandising, and support management with duties as needed. Must be 18+, able to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.

• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to take direction from supervision.
• Ability to work well with computers and scales.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests through product preparation, sampling and suggestive selling.
• Demonstrate superior guest service through storytelling about products, highlighting benefits (Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, Local).
• Show knife skills to promote Pick & Prep services.
• Operate Pick & Prep area per merchandising/operational standards.
• Maintain product quality to Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety per company standards.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Make PA announcements.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.
