Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Waterloo, IA is hiring for part-time donor screener/phlebotomy roles. Shifts are 4–6 hours/day, 3+ days/week, including afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. Daily pay is offered, with a strong focus on safety and donor service.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager, screen donors, perform phlebotomy, and use the Donor Information System to manage donor records and compensation. A customer-facing background is helpful for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate changes.
• Provide support across varying shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
