Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time Plasma Donor Screener who will perform phlebotomy to support center operations and engage with donors daily. The role requires flexibility for 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and contribute to high standards of care and safety. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be comfortable working in a blood-donor setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• 1+ year experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Glove use due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while focusing on donor safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
