Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays required.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement approved changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
