Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Dubuque, IA seeks a part-time donor screener/phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will greet donors, perform vital signs, and document donor information in our system.

Qualifications

• 1+ years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
• Ability to stand/walk for the entire shift
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on donor safety
• Screen new and repeat donors and take donor vital signs and finger stick results
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and assist center processes
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
