Job summary

BioLife in Colorado Springs is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener with phlebotomy responsibilities. Shifts are typically 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, designed to fit your life, with paid training to start.

You’ll greet donors, screen them, record vital signs, use our information system, and support center operations. Expect some weekend/holiday shifts and a chance to contribute to life-changing medicines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the shift.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Lifts up to 32 lbs occasionally and up to 5 lbs frequently.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens with glove use.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and staff safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Maintain donor charts and donor compensation records; use information system.
• Identify operational improvements and initiate changes per procedures.
• Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
