Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to support clinic operations. This role is 50% FTE (20 hours per week) with hours Mon–Fri between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm; hours may vary by clinic needs.

Primary duties include scheduling appointments via phone, in person, or electronic correspondence and handling incoming calls from patients and families. You will also make outbound calls to schedule visits and coordinate with clinic staff to ensure timely care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of previous experience in an office or customer service environment.
• Preferred – healthcare experience, scheduling patients, or answering phones/greeting clients in person.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments via phone, in-person, or electronic correspondence.
• Take incoming calls from patients and families to assist with scheduling.
• Make outgoing calls to schedule patient appointments.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure timely care for patients.
