Job summary

UW Health in Madison is seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to handle appointment scheduling by phone, in person, or electronic correspondence. You will take incoming calls and make outgoing calls to schedule appointments, coordinating with clinic staff to ensure timely care.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous experience in an office or customer service environment Required
• Previous experience healthcare preferred
• Previous experience scheduling patients preferred
• Previous experience with answering phones and greeting clients in person preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.
• Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with scheduling.
• Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure timely care for patients.
