Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking Patient Care Assistants (PCA) for part-time day/evening shifts (0.5-0.7 FTE, 20-56 hours per week). Scheduling preferences will be discussed during the interview process.

As a PCA you will work with registered nurses to support hospitalized patients, receiving structured training to deliver safe, compassionate care. Responsibilities include direct patient care, vital signs documentation in the EHR, and maintaining a safe care environment while collaborating

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
• Completion of 12 college credits OR Nursing Assistant training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output in the EHR.
• Support a safe patient care environment through safety practices.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients and healthcare team.
