Job summary

Mayo Clinic is hiring Patient Care Assistants (PCA) for part-time roles in Minnesota. You will work alongside registered nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver safe, compassionate patient care and participate in a structured training program.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, measuring and documenting vital signs in the EHR, and maintaining a safe care environment. Flexible shifts include days/evenings; interview process will discuss specifics.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
• Completion of 12 college credits -OR- High school diploma/GED with Nursing Assistant training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including activities of daily living (hygiene, mobility, nutrition, comfort).
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information in the EHR.
• Support a safe patient care environment by following safety protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients and healthcare team to support care delivery.
