Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is hiring part-time Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to support nurses and the care team in hospitalized patient care. The position includes a comprehensive paid training program and no prior healthcare experience is required.

You will assist with activities of daily living, document vital signs in the EHR, maintain a safe care environment, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Shifts are 8 or 12 hours, days/evenings, with weekend options and an onsite hiring event.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at start date.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Completion of 12 college credits or equivalent is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information in the EHR.
• Support a safe patient care environment by following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to support care delivery.
