Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients at the West Jordan Clinic.

The role involves greeting patients, checking them in and out, scheduling appointments, and gathering accurate demographic and insurance information. The PSR will document communications in the EMR, assist with registrations and variations in patient data, and help patients understand billing and financial options while maintaining PHI

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check-in/out patients in person or by phone.
• Schedule appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Verify insurance and collect necessary information for billing and registration.
• Assist patients in completing forms and understanding financial options.
• Document all interactions accurately in the EMR and maintain patient privacy.
