Job summary

Franciscan Alliance is seeking a Patient Contact Center Scheduler to coordinate, schedule, and register appointments for providers, imaging, and ancillary services. You will be the first point of contact for patients and guide them to the right provider or resource.

This part-time role requires excellent communication, familiarity with medical scheduling workflows, and the ability to identify patient needs and route inquiries appropriately.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year in a healthcare contact center, ambulatory, or physician office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for office visits for providers, imaging, and ancillary departments.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls, take messages, use templates and route inquiries.
• Assess caller needs and route to RN, provider clinic, or PEAC leadership when needed.
• Support pre-registration, referral capture, and insurance plan networks within EPIC workflows.
• Identify workflow concerns and provide recommendations to improve processes.
