United Ground Express, Inc. is hiring a Part-Time Cross-Utilized Agent at Birmingham's BHM airport. You will greet passengers, manage check-in and ticketing, rebook itineraries, and issue boarding passes with various reservation systems.

Baggage tracking, aircraft prep, and communication with crew are also part of the role. The position requires handling luggage up to 70 lbs, lifting items, and staying composed during busy operations while adhering to United and FAA rules.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must acquire and maintain credentials vital for the position including fingerprint clearance, local airport badging, and background check.
• Available to work any shift; day or night, weekends, and holidays; overtime may be required based on operational need.
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Greeting passengers and providing a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
• Use reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and collect fees.
• Ensure passenger information is processed accurately and flights are sent out on time.
• Resolve passenger issues in accordance with company policies and procedures during flight interruptions.
• May work in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage locations and answer passenger questions.
• Assist with aircraft preparation, baggage handling, and securing the aircraft for the next flight.
• Operate radio devices to communicate with co-workers or flight crew, and comply with FAA regulations.
