Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in North Carolina is seeking a Part-Time Outpatient Registered Nurse at CAP 2 level. The role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

You will work under supervision, potentially delegating duties to PCTs and LVN/LPNs, participate in education and quality improvement, and meet state licensure and CPR/BLS requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification current or completed.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for designated patients during dialysis.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; document and communicate findings.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff (PCTs/LVNs/LPNs) under supervision.
• Participate in education and quality improvement at the facility and area level.
• May serve as a Preceptor to new employees.
