Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Morehead City, NC seeks an entry-level RN CAP2 to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group undergoing hemodialysis. You will participate in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities within the ESKD care team.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and collaboration with nurses, LVN/LPNs, and patient care technicians to ensure safe, effective dialysis delivery and ongoing patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis and document in the patient medical record.
• Make adjustments to the treatment plan as indicated and notify the Team Leader, Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Physician as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and dialysis-related options.
• Direct and coordinate daily provision of safe hemodialysis therapy with staff and serve as a resource and mentor for newer employees.
