Fresenius Medical Care, a leader in dialysis services, seeks an RN CAP 2 for the Outpatient program. The role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease team, you will teach, lead, and support staff, ensure accurate lab handling, and participate in quality improvement projects. Entry level RN CAP 2 entrants or those advancing from CAP 1 are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsabilités

• Performs comprehensive nursing care under supervision, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Collects and analyzes patient data pre-, during- and post-hemodialysis to adjust the treatment plan as needed.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and treatment options.
• Directs daily delivery of hemodialysis therapy with other care staff to ensure safe, effective care.
